POLYPHEMUS - Scrapbook Of Madness [Second Edition] (Acme – AC8010LP) UK 1993 LP | vinyl: NM (mint-) | cover: NM (mint-) | comes with printed insert. | Psychedelic Rock | 500 Copies Only, Black vinyl edition

This vinyl-only version drops five tracks from the initial 14-song Beggars Banquet Scrapbook Of Madness release ("Eyes," "Masses Of Tiny Dots," "Color It," "Ring 0," and "All Of The Lovely Sounds," re-sequences the remaining tracks, and adds three tracks ["Coastline Hallucinations (which originally appeared on the Eyes double 7" / CD single), "Chains Of Ice" (which originally appeared on the 10" Great Village Trip E.P. and on Eyes thereafter), and the previously unreleased "Aunt Gussie's Fish Bowl"] for a total of 12-songs.

Polyphemus (named for the cyclops son of Poseidon and Thoosa in Homer's Odyssey) is the project of Brian Leary and Elvira Corral, who operated from Palm Desert, CA (near Joshua Tree National Park). Heavily inspired by Byrds and Who, Leary writes songs that bring back the hippie era's mellow side. Elvira Corral's vocals give the music an even more ethereal quality. Leary passed away in 2016.
