The Kick Inside is the debut studio album by English art rock singer Kate Bush, first released 17th February 1978.
Seven different official album cover variations are known. The original (UK) "kite" cover is the most widespread. The other variants were released in USA (1st version: Kate clutching hair, also used in Canada, 2nd: Kate in a wooden box), Japan (pink top), Yugoslavia (white dress, torso), Uruguay (b&w headshot) and 1988 Sweden reissue (white dress, dancing).
