The soundtrack to the IMAX film Everest is comprised of the original atmospheric new age score by Steve Wood and Daniel May, who also provide rearrangements of such George Harrison songs as "All Things Must Pass" and "Here Comes the Sun." For Harrison fans, the juxtaposition of ambient instrumentals and Harrison compositions is a little weird, but not as jarring as the new age arrangements of Harrison songs themselves. Still, it's an intriguing record that captures some of the sweeping magnificence of both the mountains and the film.
